Pinky Paradise: EOS Fairy Pink & GEO Princess Mimi Sesame Grey Review
Sunday, March 11, 2018After looking through their website, I finally decided on buying a pair of pastel pink lenses by EOS and a pair of grey lenses by GEO. The great thing about ordering from Pinky Paradise is that they give you a free lil contact case with each pair of contacts you order.
What I decided to get:
This is what came inside the package:
As you can see, the bottles are completely sealed and the free contact cases are wrapped sanitarily in plastic, so you can be 100% sure that everything is clean and safe for your eyes.
One thing I really liked about the way Pinky Paradise shipped my order is that they meticulously wrapped each pair of lenses several times with a foam material to ensure that the little glass vials arrived safely to their destination.
This is how the vials were wrapped inside the envelope:
As you can see, the lil vials are safe and sound in their lil foam cushions~♡
Pinky paradise also included a little booklet to help people who are new to circle lenses, or maybe are new to contacts in general. The booklet review the proper way to care, clean, and sanitize one's lenses so that one's lenses last and so that one's eyes stay healthy.
The included booklet also helps teach customers how to safely put on and remove circle lenses, which is really helpful for beginners. The illustrations are also super cute~
Anyway! Enough about the packaging, let's get into the actual review~!
EOS Fairy Pink
As I mentioned earlier, the contacts come in a little glass vial and each vial holds one lens. Actually opening these vials is a little tough at first, but it gets easier once you get the hang of it. (There are several videos out there that really help if you search on YouTube) I do like how strongly sealed the lenses are because it really shows that your lenses are sterile and have not been tampered with.
These particular lenses are 14.0mm in diameter which is just a little bit bigger than regular, non-circle lens contacts. These are not the most eye-enlarging contacts on their site, but they offer a cute pop of color and a noticeable difference in largeness that is still normal enough for everyday use. The base curve for these was listed as 8.6mm, which is something that may or may not work for you.
(TIP! Check with your eye doctor to see what size/base curve your eyes are to ensure the most comfortable and healthy fit~)
The top of the actual lid of the vials lists the color, the power of the lens, and the diameter.
Here is what the lenses look like after I soaked them for a few hours in my own contact lens solution.
You can really appreciate the cute pastel pink color when they are in the case. One thing to note is that even though there is a black limbal ring along the borders of these lenses, the limbal ring has an ombre effect that really helps keep the lens from being too overwhelming or unnatural (even though the lens is pink lol). The clear part in the center of the lens also has a slight ombre effect which really helps blend the pink into one's own eye color and pupil. I also like how big the clear hole is so that you don't have to worry about it obstructing your vision at all.
Here is a quick lil video clip so you can better appreciate how they look on:
Pros:
-Super affordable
-Amazing quality
-Beautiful pastel pink color
-No overpowering limbal ring
-Blends well into eye color
Cons:
-More of a subtle enlarging effect
Rating:
8/10
GEO Princess Mimi Sesame Grey
Just like the aforementioned EOS lenses, these GEO lenses came in the same type of glass vial packaging and came with a free matching lens case. These lenses are listed on the website as having a 14.8mm diameter, an 8.8mm base curve, and a 38% water content. They are yearly lenses, which means that with proper care and sterilization, you can use these for a year!
Whenever possible, I try to buy GEO brand circle lenses because they put in the extra effort to ensure that the customer can know 100% that the product is sterile and genuine. One way they do this is by having an Authenticity Check sticker on each individual vial that you can scratch to get a confirmation number which you can later plug into the GEO AntiFake website to just double check that everything is genuine. You can see an example of what the sticker looks like both before and after scratching in the photo below~

You can see in this picture just how thick and pronounced the limbal ring is on these lenses, which makes these lenses the perfect choice for someone who wants a dramatic enlarging effect. The thing I really like about these lenses is how the limbal ring has lines that reach into the actual color of the lens which is super dramatic and gives a dolly eye effect. Another great thing about these lenses is that the color blends in so flawlessly into one's natural eye color because there is an ombre effect of grey to a more golden brown color towards the center of the lens. These are one of my favorite styles of circle lenses because the clear middle part is large and does not obstruct your vision one bit.

Pros:
-Super affordable
-Amazing quality
-Beautiful grey to golden brown color
-Dolly eye style limbal ring
-Super enlarging
-Blends well into eye color
Cons:
-None!

10/10
Bottom Line:
Overall, I am extremely pleased with this shop! (≧◡≦) ♡ Even though shipping usually takes a few weeks to arrive to America, I love the selection and the professionalism of the company. If you are on the fence about shopping from them because they are an overseas business, I highly suggest you take that leap and make a purchase, because you will not be disappointed. I am already planning on my next purchase from Pinky Paradise!
Comment down below if you have tried any Pinky Paradise lenses, or if you prefer one lens over the other!
I purchased all the items with my own money, and as always, these are my honest opinions.
With love,
Alyssa
